They could have decided to pay their creators more.

That is mind blowing wealth, how much do you really need?

Wouldn't that have been nice? I've dropped from about $300 a month to around $15 a month over the last few years, but it seems our needs as creators are always the one's that get overlooked.

They would be better off spending this money on weapons supplies to Ukraine. There is a shortage of aircraft and medium-range missiles.
Spending it on ecology means giving this money to thieves and charlatans.

Ugh.

a) The "giving pledge" I think is the WEF/UN/crap (run by the people who did the convid scam). Yeah, bill melinda gates foundation garbage.
b) eyeroll to seeing the 'buzzwords' "sustainability", "inclusive capitalisim" (what), used by some of the other 'plegers'... and lol - read this letter by the canva people, the planet is not "dying" (fyi, planet has been around a lot longer then they have), but funny.

If one has incredible wealth - it is much better to CREATE your OWN organization and direct those funds - instead of giving it to some random strange. Many of the so-called charities/foundations/etc actually do a lot of evil (more accurately, the executives at the top). So instead of 'giving away' your wealth - create your own organization and do something with it. SOOOOOOO very stupid.

And yes, agree with the above post. Pay creators, don't steal from them.
