Just saw the news of the Canadian wildfires and hoping our Canadian friends here are safe and out of harm's way. It looks horrific, and wishing you all a safe and speedy end to this devastation.

"A wildfire emergency in western Canada has spread to another province as thousands of people flee their homes.

"The conditions that our northern residents, communities and wildland firefighters are facing today are as severe or quite likely unlike anything we have faced in quite some time, if not ever," said Scott Moe, Premier of Saskatchewan.

He has declared a state of emergency as 14 wildfires rage uncontrollably in the province.

A day earlier, 17,000 people were told to flee wildfires in the neighbouring province of Manitoba, which declared its own state of emergency. More than 166 fires are actively burning across Canada, according to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre."

I am in Canada & can provide regular updates and visuals
Out-of-control fires are in Saskatchewan and Manitoba right now;  but it's only question of time before Alberta/ BC are impacted.  BC interior is in particular danger as there is so much forest there.

These are couple of shots I took last yr at one of my hikes;  just few hrs before it was clear

Thank you for your kindness on behalf of Canadians!

Although we have not had any serious wildfires in Ontario this year, smog can be seen on a clear day.

This YouTube video shows how a charming small town (Sundridge) in northern Ontario was under the influence of wildfires elsewhere: https://youtu.be/KsphulU7qsY

Yet another reason why Canada should accept President Trump's offer to become the 51st state of the United States.
Canada does not have the resources to fight forest fires. Global warming is happening on planet Earth.

I also do not rule out diversion by the Russians or China.

A lot of the so-called "wildfires" are actually paid arsonists (some govt, others hired via things like craigslist) trying to promote the 'climate change' narrative, among other things. Also to try and "move" certain populations into the city (because people are being 'coralled' like cattle into cities - easier to "manage").

Why is it that conspiracy theorists always have this annoying habit of latching onto every new disaster or event like they know everything about it...?

This is such an immense stupidity;  it is quite hard to believe someone would have such a low IQ to actually believe this.  Please go away

1. Where did you see conspiracy theories in this thread?
2. If you personally have nothing to say on the topic, it doesn't mean that other people are as ignorant as you.
3. Such disasters should be investigated.
4. In this thread, I see a description of possible scenarios.
 :)

You know, it's getting irritating with your inane name calling zeljkok. I'm sorry to hear that your life is that depressing and sad that name calling is the only way you can have a discussion, because your mind is that far gone that nothing else is in there.

Sadly, people like you - make it possible for evil people to do evil. You fit the profile of someone who suffocated themselves daily for two years - didn't see the irony that... if you let someone shove a six inch stick up your nose - to "see if you were sick" - then yes, you were definitely sick - and didn't need a 'test' to tell you that. You didn't see the irony - of sticking a needle in your arm with a poisonous substance, was actually injecting poison into you, and not 'curing' you of anything, but actually causing the "disease" that you believed you were trying to avoid.

But, I'm sad for you - obviously you weren't strong enough to withstand being abused. A lot of people weren't - to my surprise. I hope you heal. Good luck.

Big difference between a conspiracy "theory" and an actual conspiracy.

Thinking would be wise. Automatically calling something a 'conspiracy theory' as ones only 'argument' is the lazy man's way of avoiding doing that.

A "theory" would be like me saying... You were cloned at birth, a basic install disk was inserted into you to parrot "conspiracy theory" whenever you came across something you didn't care to investigate or understand, but wanted the feeling of being smart without actually being smart. That - would simply be a "theory" - because I really don't have any actual evidence of you being like that, except observations. Simply a theory.

Discovering an actual conspiracy, and not just a 'theory' on the other hand - would be, say - upon reading financial reports and filings of corporations - seeing the connections/connecting the dots between... say several corporations conspiring to lowball residents for some land... the residents don't sell... so then "mysteriously" a wildfire erupts... the residents are "forced" to move out because their houses are burned to a crisp... and then the same corporations that lowballed the land, now conveniently happen to be there to get it for pennies on the dollar... and then afterwards - AMAZINGLY - there are no more wildfires in that specific area. Seeing those connections, and realizing that happens, would not be a theory, but an actual conspiracy.

Yes, these things happen. There are real estate speculators and others who will stop at nothing.

Nevertheless, I still find it astonishing that there are people who consider climate change to be a lie. Ultimately, it doesn't matter whether climate change is mainly caused by us humans or mainly by natural causes. What matters in the end is that we humans could at least do our bit to prevent or at least delay the worst. After all, the earth is a transient element in the overall system anyway. Nevertheless, it would be nice if we could somehow manage to spare our direct descendants the worst. And doing that requires a change in thinking.

Not many people are prepared to do this. Least of all those who believe that we should continue to consume just as many of our limited resources as before. Or even more resources in order to become even richer - at least in the short term. And if that's what you want, then you can of course present things as if such fires are being set just to support a climate change lie. Personally, I think this theory is absolute nonsense. Just like all the many other false truths you have repeatedly presented here. And when it has been pointed out to you that you have been taken in by complete nonsense, not a single comment has come from you.

Personally, I would therefore be very grateful if you would continue to move around in your algorithm bubble with your nonsense and spare us from it here. Thank you in advance!

Nothing more to add.  Human race is like that duck tossed in slow heating water;  it doesn't jump until it's too late.  Just in my lifespan, which is extremely short period of time, I am witnessing receding glaciers, summer wildfires are new normal, global warming due to trapped CO2, air pollution worse year after year, list goes on.  Yet people can't even agree on the fact there is climate change, never mind taking action to actually do something.   Drill baby drill.  Where are we supposed to go when this planet can't support life anymore?  It might already be too late.  This is a simple fact, not nutty left wing theory.

Where did you see such people in this thread? In my first message I wrote about climate change.
Climate change is only one scenario, one of the possible ones.
But it is convenient for the Europarasites to think that catastrophes only happen because of natural phenomena. You live in a bubble of lies and misinformation, and you dont even know that you are in the epicenter of the hot phase of World War III. You dont even know that World War III is going on. So of course you have only one answer to any catastrophe, the answer that was shoved into your head by the democrats. At the same time, these democrats are very well enriched and steal money on the topic of fighting climate change, fighting a star called the sun.  ;D ;D ;D
But I'm glad that President Trump thinks this "fight" is nonsense and is no longer wasting US taxpayer money on it.
