Hi everyone,
Here I am launching again my Christmas campaign, to which some friends here contributed in the past three years (2010 (http://www.microstockgroup.com/off-topic/%27adopt-a-santa-claus-letter%27-christmas-beneficent-campaign/), 2011 (http://www.microstockgroup.com/off-topic/christmas-campaign/25/) and 2012 (http://www.microstockgroup.com/off-topic/christmas-campaign-2013/)).
Friends and coworkers joined me in the Mail's "Adopt a Santa Claus letter" campaign and now I'm working on the Christmas party at a créche in a slum near our office. In the past years, contributions from MSG members fully funded the toys for the more or less 45 children who attend it.
For those who don't know this project, there is this créche run inside a "favela", for children ages 2 to 4. They have a Christmas party in December and we've been buying each of them a little toy. We hire a Santa to distribute the toys and it is delightful to witness the kids in ecstasy for living this dreamy moment. I have just contacted the lady in charge of the créche and I don't have the date of their party yet. Still, I want to buy everything in advance.
Money can be sent to my PP or MB accounts - both _adelaidebs_at_hotmail_dot_com_. PM me when you make the transfer with the name/email used and amount, so I can check these accounts and acknowledge the donations.
Looking forward to having MSG members helping me with this project again. Photos of the event will be posted later, as in the previous years.
