That's sarcasm. The implication is that if they were black, the police would have shot to kill for stepping on the steps of the Capitol. Instead, they seem to have removed barriers to allow entry and then took selfies with them inside.

I have hope. I thought that the country could only be divided, peacefully or by violence. Now, I am hopeful that Trump will get self-pardon from him, or pardon from Biden.
I believe that Trump should create his own political party and group those with free time who have old washing machines in the garden, five unused cars and four old refrigerators at the entrance of the house and a lot of free time to cry as eternally forgotten by the elite of NY. They should go fishing less and listen to the news more.
Those who have nothing and believe that immigrants and blacks are going to take away their Saturday night barbecue. I believe that the Republicans can rebuild their party, USA place their country where they can, and that Trump picks up the haters into a residual political party.
I'm hopeful, much more so with today's Georgia. These past years, they are a balloon that escapes the air. The Republicans must move away from the Fascist Dictatorship and recover their party.
Little by little, with the Twitter bans, 4Chan and the rest of the hate groups will be isolated. Funding for these hate groups must be cut.
The US must understand that being anti-fascist is being a hero, something natural to people who love life.

trump's gone in 2 wks, but his malignant legacy metastasizes -- unfortunately there's the little fact that almost 1/2 the country voted for him, even though they could see his narcissitic sociopathy for 4 yrs - and our system is just as vulnerable when the next figure to spout his revanchist policies may actually be semi-intelligent & competent

Yes, 70 million is a lot, they deserve some Republicans who rebuild their party. As for the damage of this administration, it is incalculable, indescribable, and a great shame, this will help those 70 million voters to return to politics.
It will not be easy, there is a lot of hatred for Ocasio, Pelosi, Biden, that the communists come, ..... and nonsense from the best country to live in the world and things like that falsely installed in the mind for decades. People first, not USA.
