Mildly amusing. Apart from the obvious satire I'm not sure what the point is apart from belittling an industry she evidently sees as beneath her talent.

I think the point is "humor". People should give it a try.

And of course it's beneath her talent. The typical stock business shot is, in my opinion, maybe the most ridiculous thing you can do with a camera. It's not hard to make fun of something so incredibly cheesy and unnatural. Game of Thrones is a few steps up from that.  ;)

I did find it a little amusing but got the idea after 30 seconds. It wasn't particularly clever humour, and although a lot of business shots are cheesy, plenty of them are very slick and a fair amount of talent goes into creating them. I've never been interested in shooting business/medical subjects however I'd say these content creators and actors are just as professional as the people on the GOT set. Fame tends to blow things out of proportion.

Poking fun at cheesy stock photos, sure. But I didn't really find this funny.
The bit was longwinded, predictable and kinda boring. It reminded me of an average Red Nose Day sketch.

It could've worked with David Brent, though.

Agree mostly harmless been done before and better.....the real joke is on the people who buy this kind of stuff and think it makes their business look good....puts money on the starving photographer's plate though!

Yes, and we can all be free to make fun of cheesy actors and actresses, full of their "ART" who are overly self important because they have a pretty face... (or artificial body adjustments?) And they can play pretend, and get paid to do that!

Fair is fair. Sometimes sarcasm is cruel, but honest, and it's truth. First comment was "where's the girl smiling at her salad"?  ;D

I am guessing Emilia Clarke started out doing cheesy stock and now dose nudes each week on HBO. I bet the nudes pay better now.

I had the same reaction, I also don't understand why so many of my photographer/stock friends have shared this. It's so hard to find good talent for stock, you actually need actors, not models, as Emilia proves, and they all think it's beneath them.  and my photographer friends who shoot families frolicking on the beach at sunset, laughing down at us. meh.

I don't believe they're trying to make fun of stock footage/stock photography as a whole - just the incredibly cheesy and unnatural business shots. Every major movie and TV series uses stock footage, but of course they would never use an unnatural clip of people smiling over a graph.

Buyers are moving away from the unnatural, superfake stock clips, and want "authentic" stuff. In short: more natural situations and acting. And as you say, that requires good actors. It's very hard to act natural, which is why the job pays incredibly well.
