Took the camera, no flash, all natural light, everything has no editing, except reduced to web size = 720 longest side. Made a slideshow with Irfanview, 4 seconds per image, total length is just over four minutes.

But if you were wondering how the unobtrusive camera, preformed, with the 22mm lens, this is a snapshot collection. Shade, Sun, indoors.

+1 on the .exe

Is it online somewhere we can see it?

I'm really thinking about an EOS-M. Found a body on eBay for under $250USD. Add a $20USD adapter and I can use all of my current EF/EF-S-mount lenses.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I understand the apprehension. I mean it's a self-executing slide show and we all know what that could mean. And I'd be the first to say, never open anything attached to an email, even if you know the person, unless you can ask them personally if they really sent it. Yes, seriously, safe rather than sorry.

However, I will say, I think you know who I am and where to find me if there's anything suspicious going on. Not like I'm emailing it as "larger body parts / you won the lottery / your rich uncle died so open this attached file to get you shipping notice" LOL Made with Irfanview and really, I do understand why someone would not open it.

Sorry about that, I'll try to put up a version on Jalbum or someplace. Heck, it's not that good anyway.  :)

Cool, body only, I wondered about that. I have one and I see the new lens and could buy it as a kit, with another camera, so what would I do with two camera bodies. I also consider why do I have one in the first place, except "it was a good deal". Haven't tried the adapter, haven't read any reviews on the performance with the EF lenses. It kind of defeats the reason why I bought a pocket size, APS-C sensor camera. It does have full time focus in video mode.

I'll work on it and sorry about the exe. It's still there and my Sister-in-law, Brother and Sister have all watched it and they haven't been consumed by Satan himself. I watched it twice myself. But yes, there's a better way to do this.

Are those super-compressed or is it just me? It looks like a WHOLE lot of artifacting going on! If that's a real-world example of what comes out of that body on a bright, sunny day, then I'll stay far, far away.

I was looking at one to put on my motorized gimbal for video, so I would only be doing manual focus, which is why I said that the adapter is so cheap. You can get an adapter with electronics in it for about $70USD.

What is your impression from looking at the full-sized photos Pete?

Reduce to 720 longest side, that's why they look the way they do. I wasn't going to put up full size in a slide show. It's 8MB as now. A single image is 10MB. But here's one with some colors, just as I shot it, unedited. http://motorsport-monitor.com/wadehouse/eosm-sample.jpg Hope that shows what the little camera with the 22mm can do. I'm very happy.

Here's the safe surfing version. Thanks for the reminders that we all need to avoid risky viewing, especially opening an exe file..

Thanks for taking the time to post a fill-sized image Pete. That IQ looks MUCH better! I've sent you a PM asking a favor.

Aside from the security apprehension, an .exe also keeps everyone on a Mac from viewing the slideshow.
