nice vid, yeah.  like massman - I am still alive as well because of wearing a seat belt.  I was in two accidents last year that totaled the car I was driving both times.  Neither accident was my fault and there was little I could do to prevent it - so it doesn't help to just 'drive safe'.  One accident i probably would have survived without a belt, but may have got knocked out - the other, I would have probably been a vegetable or dead.

Here's a nice shiner my wife got from the accident.  Couldn't give up the chance for stock ya know!

Very good indeed. Wearing a seatbelt has already saved my life for sure.

I was involved in one "extremely rare" incident where NOT wearing a seat belt saved my life...  It was an old top-heavy jeep that didn't have seat belts in it and when it rolled, I was tossed from the vehicle just before it hit the side of a bridge/barrier and burst into flames.

None-the-less, I always wear mine...  I know that things could have easily been different and I was just damned lucky.

Excellent indeed! I once sat in a 3ton military jeep that flipped 6 times in the air including one double flip (twice) before it hit the ground. I had my seatbelt on. I am alive today! :)

Good video but it probably helps to concentrate and keep your eyes on the road in front of you too.

Jeremy Clarkson, the BBC 'Top Gear' presenter, once proposed a useful safety device in the form of a large shiny metal spike protruding from the steering wheel and ending 2" before the chest of the driver. How carefully would you drive then?

Yeah, so true.  Similar to this I once read an article about driving old VW vans.  I used to have one and your feet basically rest on the headlights from the inside.  The author wrote that if everyone was strapped to the front of their car like an Aztek sacrifice (about as safe as driving a VW van) - the roads would be much safer.
