Title: “Finding Vivian Maier”
Post by: Uncle Pete on November 28, 2014, 19:24
Watching it right now. Impressive, interesting. Street photographer that never showed much of her work to anyone and was very reclusive.

Twin Lens Rolleiflex for much of it.

Saw the complete film earlier this year.
Interesting woman - great photographer.
A must see if it comes to your area.
Can't wait till more images are online.

Think there are two documentaries about her - saw one earlier this year. Excellent work and very interesting.

Sad thing though, I heard that some lawyer found another distant relative of hers who never even knew her and is suing the guy who purchased her work and has been promoting it, so none can be sold til that's cleared up.

Too bad she never showed the work while she was alive - it's really amazing.
