I just put this on microstock.me (http://www.microstock.me/), but thought I'd post here too... it could come in handy some day.  A bit of a long shot but worth a try when you are desperate

Very cool new site I just saw for finding your stolen camera. You upload an old picture taken with said stolen camera, the website then searches the Internet for new photos also taken with that camera … pictures taken by the possible thief.

Wow, this is cool; I see this as an excellent app. for insurance companies to catch fraud.  Someone claims equipment damaged beyond repair and sell it; or claims stolen and sells it. Insurance can trace equipment and find history.
