Title: Google Analytics not counting all views
Post by: madelaide on July 07, 2010, 17:36
I have set Google Analytics for my Zazzle store a while ago, but I am not confident it works properly.

I sold two different items this week, however none of them show in the Content list.  I've noticed the same with another sale a while ago.  Apparently these sales all happened in the USA site, but even if at another country, I suppose GA should account views correctly (and I see some views from foreign Zazzles).

Have you noticed such faults in GA? Is it Zazzle-related?

Is it Zazzle-related?

Probably!

I use analytics and didn't notice anything.

Btw, since we are talking zazzle, how does it compare to the microstock sites earnings wise? Of course not everybody's micro stuff is going to do the same on zazzle, but how is it for you?

I have been having some nice results at Zazzle, and it's often ahead of 123Rf and CanStockPhoto (but then these are very low earners for me) and in 3 of the past 4 months it was ahead of BigStock too. Roughly, in the past two months Zazzle earnings were equivalent to 10% of my microstock earnings.

Too bad only one of my World Cup stuff sold...  ::)

madelaide what do you do the best with on Zazzle? Shirts? Stamps? Cards?  Just wondering. I've been working on mine and am trying to get an idea of what I need to focus on.

I had a view sales in the beginning of the year. Because of this I started to upload/create items again with Zazzle. I still have only a small amount of my images there, because it really takes some time to create the items. Except last month with no sales, I can see an increase of sales. For me it is mostly business cards and gift card that sell. I have to spend more time to create more items. It looks like to me that is has the potential to be a very good earner.

I've sold a variety of items, can not see a trend there: t-shirts, stickers, greeting cards, business cards, keychains.  I haven't yet sold hats, aprons, mousepads, postcards, stamps. I've been setting a mark-up of 18-25%.

Now, back to the original discussion: any other opinions about Google Analytics?
