Hi everyone. I'm new here.

I'm a regular on Shutterstock forums, and I'm a member of the big 6. I shoot mainly graffiti and urban photography. Most are my stock images are ones that I won't use for our website for fine art work.

The website is www.archedroof.com

Now I have shamelessly plugged my website, I hope I get on well here at the forums, I hear they are pretty good.

I own a 30d and 40d, more lenses that u can imagine, including a fun fisheye, and some funky filters for dramatic effects. I travel around the world a lot and I'm currently living in Winchester, UK.

Hi Sammy, you'll like it here.  I have looked at a lot of stock photography forums but this is by far the best and friendliest.

Hi Sammy,

I have enjoyed many of your SS posts. I look forward to your participation here.

BTW - I loved that long exposure graveyard shot you posted a couple months back and still want to try it out myself. It was very cool!

Cheers!

Hey Sammy,
I saw some pictures from the meeting!
Looked like a fun time you guys had!

I'm not so active anymore on the SS forum!
There some contentious folks over there, and I'm trying to spend more time on my work and less on the forums!  ;D

Hi Sammy!

Welcome..        looking at your portfolio, from your experience with graffiti & street art, i'd like to ask about publishing/selling a photo containing other peoples (public) creations. Do you get releases for such shots, or are the artists generally happy to get exposure?

Public art is always an interesting problem from the photo agency reviewers point of view.  I bet there's some street-wise cops in LA that can ID the artists who created each piece, but for the most of us it is anonymous .. monetizing it seems like a bit a grey area.

Cheers

It's a bit hard to see because it's in micro-sized type but he put this at the bottom of his post:

"Kidding, I referred him to microstockgroup."   ;D
