If you want to be politically correct, you call it Lunar New Year, as other cultures that are not Chinese also celebrate it. (Vietnamese, Korean)

That's correct, it is also called Spring Festival in China, and in the US and Australia, they call it Chinese New Year such as in the yearly "San Francisco Chinese New Year Festival and Parade", ha! 新年快樂!
