As far as I know, with a standard account, you can only sell prints at a standard super-low price (for which you get no profit), but in order to set your own print prices (and make profits), you will need a pro account. (Although I have sold prints at my own set prices through privately emailed requests, and I have a mid-level account there.)
I haven't checked in there lately. Have they started the stock photo thing yet, or something?

Yes. You can sell prints, setting your own price.
I considered it a while back - I liked the idea and the organisation seems very efficient and friendly. I also liked the idea of them providing a customizable web site I could use at my personal web address
The only problem was that I live outside the States and they would only pay my income (if there was any) with a US dollar cheque. That's just not worth it for me. If I try to cash one of those here, the bank takes so much it's stupid.
I asked them if they'd pay by Paypal (so I can roll it up with all the other US dollar income I get and minimize the effect of bank charges) and they said no.

You can also make your image available for download and charge for it if you have a pro account. In the their forum I just read, that they are looking into it to implement a way of paying the photographer online.
