I just sold this photo on DT.

I wonder why a buyer who searched for "Washington DC" decided to buy a baboon?

Why did you include the term "Washington D.C." in this picture keywords??

Maybe a designer was looking for Washington pictures because of work but he also is a baboon fan or he is also looking for animal pictures for another project, and when he saw the picture he just buy it...

(or maybe he is looking for photos of politicians in Washington D.C. and the baboon was the best representation he could find)

Obviously, I didn't include "Washington DC" among the keywords. This is why I have the little question mark next to the search string, asking me if I want to add "Washington DC" to the keyword list.

Ok, so this is a DT search algorithm problem or something, i saw this before in some of my sales, i think that the algorithm register the last term you search, so if you search for baboons in one window and then you search for Washington in other one the algorithm register you last search, if you then buy any image without make a new search this sale is asociated with the last term you search; in this case Washington... this is just a thoery of course...

Probably, but this is a funny association, indeed :)

If a buyer puts in a search term and then wanders off into other pages or into another port without entering a new search term the original search term still applies to everything he/she is viewing. It's quite common there.
