Title: Is it Holiday Season Already?
Post by: Pixart on December 15, 2008, 13:24
November/December is my busy season, and I had scheduled to do computer maintenance on the week of 21st including a new hard drive.  Of course things never go as you plan.  I finished processing some hockey teams and a group of 70 school kids on a Wednesday and on the Thursday morning I couldn't load Windows.  My hard drive was completely stuffed.  I'm always moving files to an external drive but it has been such a busy season everything is behind.   The good news is that the only data I seemd to lose was some fonts and my list of RSS feeds, and now the 'puter is performing very nice.

I placed myself on a strict exile from the Internet while I was getting caught up and now that I am almost back to norm and I'm looking at things.

(a) Has something happened to the search at Istock, I've passed November earnings (but that isn't a great accomplishment)
(b) Have we entered holiday season?  Things seem a little slow.

Yeah, it's been a slow month for me too.

Me Three.

I am guessing that the combination of december sales slowdown and the recession are not being kind to us.

Wish I could say my istock sales have picked up.  They are still very slow.  As bad as November was it looks like I probably won't match it - I'm on schedule for my worst month in a couple of years there.

It has been slow so I thought that making some Xmas cards for sale on Zazzle would cheer me up. Nobody wants them too :-)

Ha! I've been with Zazzle for like three years, and I've only sold about ten things. So don't feel too bad about it.
