I'm talking days of dialup and probably Windows 98SE.

These were downloaded as PD files, alphabets. I liked the car set and got some, but never the whole set. They also had dripping green letters and some others. WMF files show on the backup CD that I just found. I converted them to GIFs and re-named them.

Anyone recognize the site or am I trying to find something from the dark ages?

I used to have links to the free sites that had alphabets, but that's so far gone, I don't have a clue.

That style reminds me of Ross Kinnaird at RossToons.com but he no longer owns that site.

Samples of his illustrations: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3124/2559468557_9f2d619e82_b.jpg

You may be able to get in touch with him from his Blogger account: http://rosskinnaird.blogspot.com/p/contact-me.html

I would try TinEye's image search, they may have the original site archived: http://www.tineye.com/

Good luck!

Kenny
