The Best " Out-Of-Office " E-Mail Auto-Replies:
1: I am currently out at a job interview and will reply to you if I fail to get the position .
2: I'm not really out of the office. I'm just ignoring you.
3: You are receiving this automatic notification because I am out of the office. If I was in, chances are you wouldn't have received anything at all.
4: Sorry to have missed you but I am at the doctors having my brain removed so that I may be promoted to management

( The beauty of this is that when you return, you can see how many in-duh-viduals did this over and over ).

we actually had discussions about this the other day at work as one of people was away for 3 weeks and his message said he wont be checking email. everyone thought he was bragging that he can go 'cold turkey' without email :)

Oh come on __ this is supposed to be a microstock forum. If I want a 'joke of the day' I can get it anytime I like via the interweb. I don't need you to be my editor.
If you're looking for a social club where 'Nobby No-Mates' can gather or just want to talk meaningless drivel then the SS forums should be ideal.

I appreciate it's 'Off Topic' but do we really have to have a post from this chap on a totally unrelated topic every day __ like he thinks he's our court jester or something? I did bite my lip for the first couple of days. The posts are not original, most of us will probably have had them emailed to us many times before and they have nothing whatsoever to do with this forum. What's the point?
I have no problem with folk choosing to 'Ignore' me. If they're not interested in my view then that's absolutely fine with me. I'm certainly not going to hold back on my views just in case someone I don't know, somewhere on the planet, might get offended by them. That's their problem or their choice as far as I'm concerned. Even SJL is ignored by 3 people and yet he's amongst the top 4 most knowledgeable people on the planet on the subject of microstock. Why do people join a microstock group and then 'Ignore' the people that they stand to learn the most from?

I have to agree with you, but each to their own. 'There is nowt queerer than folk'.
