I'm not supposed to receive my order from zazzle until 2/9, next Wednesday. Unless another big storm forces the country to a standstill. I will send them out as soon as I get the order.

Wow, everybody has ordered or sent cards already? I only decided which image to use... I'm late!

I thought about which picture to use last night. I'd better get moving and printing. :D

Then there will be a"blizzard" of activity, addressing and they will all go out, early next week.

Right now I'm happy to be plowed out after four days kind of snowed in. The Super Bowl is Sunday, and then back to abnormal.

We put ours in the mail today. We could not decide on one photo so we did all different ones.

We have not received any yet, but are excited to!

My cards are going to be delayed.  I've had the flu for several days with no sign of getting better, so bear with me.   :)

Have patience with me as well, right now I'm lying on the sofa surrounded by pillows, hoping my medication will relieve the pain in that nerve in my leg (ciatic nerve or whatever you call it). :(

Owwww!   Hope you guys feel better soon. Knees up so you have neutral spine and ice can helpvthe nerve. I have had a bad back for 20 years.

When I get my vacation starting Friday (no big deal, vacation from taking care of my grandmother) I'm going to git 'er done!

OK I dug out the mailbox, they plowed it in again, I dug it out. the driveway guy piled snow in front of it again... I dug it out for now. Went to the doctor, I have a follow-up with another specialist tomorrow, but I promise to get off my lazy butt and start printing tomorrow. I wrote myself a note. That way when I wake up I won't say "wasn't there something I was going to do today?"

There's your Mid-West snow storm. No big deal I grew up here, we get it, we shovel and plow, and soon it will melt... :)

OMG, I can't believe I got cards out today before I received any.  This is so unlike me.  No guilt eating away at me for once.  ;D

I would love to know how messed up they are when they arrive, and if the ink has rubbed off.  Printed on glossy card stock on Xerox Phaser 7760.  The stock seemed a little thin so I stuck a big label on the back before I trimmed which seemed to stop it from curling.  The local post office didn't have any fun stamps today  :(

I don't know why I picked that silly composite.   I guess because it wasn't a stock photo?

+1 and I worked yesterday and got them all printed, sent one to myself, put them out in the box for the carrier to pick up. They are on the way Feb 9th AM. (and I missed the address correction, so fingers crossed)

Way to go Olie you win the first card out award, and good thing I have a magnifying glass in the desk drawer. that was interesting and fun.

smaller version of you have mail. For people who follow hidden links, that picture in the first snow message above leads to a small snow gallery online.

^ and ^^ thanks, glad you liked it!

Looking forward to your cards.
I would have thought the rest of Europe would have received my cards before you.
You never know, some might have gotten their postal codes messed up ;)

I'd hold off sending my fellow countryman a card for now  ;D.

Hmmm. Opla has a very valid point. I'm afraid my postal code is incorrect. it should be 2281GK (And not 2032KA). Don't know what got into me when I passed Race that info, nor why I didnt' notice that earlier...

I'm very sorry about that. Hope I'm still on time.

My Correct postal code is 2281GK

Cheers,

Hugo

I sent without a return address - they are postcards after all - but I wondered what if my lousy handwriting couldn't be read and they don't arrive!

Whoa, and mine went out this morning. I wonder if they are like the US, and there will be a stack of cards in the dead letter office, or if someone will be kid enough to fix and forward them all.

Keep track and see if you get them, if not I'll consider sending a replacement.

I also had no return address and since it's coming from the USA it would be pretty funny to send it and in a month get it back. Like, the around the world postcard and home again?  ;D

For anyone reading this, it's

Yes! I got Opla's today too. Very cool photo! This is fun!

I also picked up my postcards, got the postage, and will address them tonight and send out tomorrow.

Yay, 2 postcards have arrived! Won't mention specifics yet about the very cool photos, in case you haven't received yours.

Opla's arrived first, and I think I've made out the words "Hi fellow MSG-ers... Canon... The camera is... Anyway... all the best and looking forward to your postcards." Next arrived Christy and Charles'.

It was harder than I expected to choose a photo. Anyway, this is so exciting - thanks Racephoto for making this all happen - and that's a great snow photo you've posted above!

(Oh, I placed each of mine in a plastic/paper sleeve that's meant to unfold a bit, and then serve as basic frame for any 4x6, but when the postal worker saw it, she said the new machines would rip open the flap, so I had to add bits of tape along the bottom. Sigh.)

I mailed my postcards this afternoon, but I didn't think to check this thread first, and it looks like there was at least one address that should have been modified.
If any postcarders don't receive theirs in reasonable time, please PM me with address, and I be happy to send you another postcard.

Gosh, very impressed that Opla's card arrived from the Netherlands to Central Canada already - I thought it might take 3 weeks.  Interesting shot (good timing!) and I could even read that tiny text!  Feels like quite an acheivment with the trouble I've been having with my eyes lately :)  It arrived in perfect shape, not even a bent corner.

You guys aren't going to make me feel horrible I didn't write a note are you?  Mine never would have gone into the mail....

Ann, glad that you liked our photo (we're Christy & Charles). Which one did we send you? We sent everyone something different and didn't write down what went where!

You sent me the electric guitar with selective focus on area of knob, with lovely dark ivory-sepia tones -  very enjoyable how it took a a moment to click what I was looking at.
