I wanted to give you all HEARTS for helping me out in my submission to iStock- I MADE IT this morning!  Now, I will hold off until I see the outcome that is going on there but at least I can say I made the cut- it took me 7 tries!

THANK YOU ALL!

They are the toughest one out there - not even SS is as tough, but both have uber high standards
congrats on yur being accepted - now its a slow process to build up your port , but you will get there.

You are a few years too late. You will be building up ur port with a company that's declining. Congrats anyway.

It's certainly a weird time to congratulate someone for getting into iStock right now... but I do congratulate you on meeting the required standard and acheiving your goal after so many attempts!  Well done for that.  :)

Unfortunately, that's about the sum of it.
But savour your achievement in meeting the acceptance standards anyway.
It's all grist to your mill.

Well, whatever, but you must have improved your basic photographic skills and achieved a high standard, and that merits congratulations in its own right. (Not that passing the test means you've reached grandmaster level yet!!)

So, congratulations. Well done.

Use your iStock acceptance to learn about their technical standards. It will teach you a lot about photography, post processing etc. that you can make good use of in a later stage of your photography career. ;-)

More like a free ride on the space shuttle Challenger.  Never-the-less, congratulations on meeting their overly restrictive standards.  You should be able to put those skills to good use elsewhere.

From the sounds of it many have got laid recently on the iStock ship...

I quit uploading to Istock when I no longer felt it was ethical to contribute to the pain of my fellows.

I quit buying from Istock when they shafted it's contributors in lew of more dollars.

Congratulations on your technical and artistic achievements... ethically IS is a hot potato that we should avoid if we care at all about this business and the people in it.

Great going Tom! I could not even get a free ticket to this one. At least I can now say I did not want to become a member and stop trying.  ;)
