Anyone have comments on how these compare?

I have been using paypal with everything, but am getting tired of the lousy exchange rate and am considering changing to moneybookers.  Any opinions on this?

I've posted this a few times on a few forums, guess you've missed it.

I just have Moneyboockers here, so I have no choice.
Everything was going perfect until my bank change the swift code. They start to charge me $20 on every withdraw. I asked why, they answer they didn't make the charge, and my bank didn't, so... I can't do anything.
One day they send me an email saying my bank account is incorrect... it isn't, so I call them to England, they say I have to verify it again. I am still waiting for an answer... meanwhile I have virtual $1200 that I can't use...
Conclussion: I really don't like Moneybookers.

Latex, get a VISA card.

I just transfer my money bookers earnings straight to my credit card.

I prefer moneybookers to paypal.  I get more when my $ are converted to .  There is a tiny fee for withdrawals but I only take money out once a month, so it isn't significant.

My experience with moneybookers has been nothing but great. I had payments from them on few bank accounts and I never had a problem and always on time. Transfer fee is somewhere about 2$ for any amount of money you withdraw , and I find that acceptable , especially after the experiance with check payments when the bank was robbing me month after month , verification pending was few months etc.

They have a 3 month transfer limit of amount of money that can circulate on your account and you can rise it by sending them some privat information they require.

Only reason I would quit using moneybookers (if thing say like this) is if I ever start earning more and go over their limits , but for now I can only wish that I find myself in such sweet problems.

Abuot paypal , well I thin its easier to go internet shopping with them cause they are accepted almost everywhere , but they work as one way train in my country (you cant withdraw founds)
so I dont use them and cant say nothing about them.

I'd make the switch in a second, but my country (Canada) isn't supported.

It's costing me a few hundred dollars annually to use Paypal. Nuts.

I wish I could! I am on the fourth world... I have a VISA card, but can't do that. We don't even have debit cards here...  :-\

I use paypal. No big deal for me since I live in the US. Plus it is a payment option at all microstock sites and is an option for payment at many merchandise sites. So if your American, I say go with paypal.

I can't get paid with either one directly in Brazil, only by cheque, then banks charge a lot to exchange them, with figures like US$30 min per cheque - I'm not sure if it's just a bank policy of if it's mostly government tax.

A fellow stocker uses a service that charges a fee to get his PP or MB credits and pays him in his bank account.

In my latest trip I opened a bank account in UK (you can, even not being a resident; it can be done even from overseas, in some banks, but it takes longer), and now I transfer from MB to it - Paypal doesn't let me do it because they automatically opened my PP account in USA because I'm in Brazil, and they can not make bank transfers from USA to UK.

So I'm a MB fan and receive my earnings through it wherever I can.  I also never had a problem with my payments yet (sorry to hear about yours, Latex).  PP is only useful for me to buy things online abroad, but I don't do that much.

Regards,
Adelaide
