Hi! Need some help...

How would english speakers read this : Obby?
The final Y would be read as BEE or BYE?

Thanks!

I'm going with Ah-Bee as BT answered. And his logic is good, Hobby  Lobby Bobby Etc.

If it's a personal name it could be anything, but if it follows the general rules, Ah-Bee

Not native English speaker here and I think:

Obby like in "Hobby" without an "H"

Or, in UK English, aw-bi, with i being an unaccented syllable like 'the', or a very short, unaccented form of bi in 'big'. If like Hobby which is haw-bi, never haw-bee. And never, ever hah-bee.
