Heck it wasn't 30 years ago that we were still using some of these same chemicals.

Heck, it wasn't 30 hours ago that I was using some of them!

Hypo, I presume: http://www.freestylephoto.biz/70120-Foma-Fomafix-P-Powder-Fixer-1-Liter (http://www.freestylephoto.biz/70120-Foma-Fomafix-P-Powder-Fixer-1-Liter)

Thanks for sharing.

I have a wetplate from 1862. A woman, very starched looking,
in a studio.

The gold frame is stamped Worcestor, 1862.....I assume then
that she lived on the American east coast. Perhaps an immigrant
fresh off the boat.
