Having gone through various experiences in Germany and Switzerland, I'm now moving to France and was wondering if there are any French people here who I could shoot a few questions regarding my (small) business and how to transition smoothly.

I did my studies in Paris, in business and finance.
I worked for HP in worldwide marketing in Grenoble, then I had two companies in Paris developing and distributing software and hardware for the first generation of personal computers (the Mac did not even exist at the time).
We had even developed a sort of Photoshop granddad :-). Then Photoshop was released and crushed all of us.
