Okay, I know I am not a very high end photographer (below average) but how can Yay be a top Tier company? I made $.15 last month from them.  This is an opportunity for the folks to tell me that they are making a killing. If so, on photos or drawings? Please give me faith on this poll again ???

If somebody is inflating their scores, which seems like what is happening, I would just remove them from the poll altogether.

So far I have 0 sales for $0.00 with them this year.

I also don't see how Stockfresh and Graphic Leftovers are in the middle tier.  Someone is definitely messing with the poll.

Thats what I concluded as well. Yay was way down this morning, now they are top tier. SOmeone or a few must have voted 2500 dollar

Something is very wrong with pool results. Leaf would you like to check!

It's likely too early to take the March results seriously.  Wait until more people have voted and see where things are.  Notice that StockFresh has moved from first position in the middle tier to third over the last 24 hours.  Its score is still too high from my experience, but maybe others are seeing more sales there than I (one $.50 sale last month).

With that said, I had a surprisingly robust month with Yay, with 11 sales of 1.50 each all reported on the same day.  Maybe a few other people did even better, and those who submit to Yay and didn't have such sales are yet to vote.

Small numbers of votes can produce counterintuitive results that are still accurate.  It doesn't have to mean anything's broken or anyone's cheating.

but doesn't it take 50 votes before a result appears?

maybe the poll should through out the top & bottom x% to ofst tampering

the yay result does seem very weird, unless several people got ELs -- I haven't had any sales from them since last summer -- I tried to drop them but they have a silly 3 year (or something) rule.

Too bad Yay doesn't jump in to explain their rise to success?

Always said the poll is useless. Arbitrary clicking, no control, no check, no nothing, fantasy results.

fixed - I looked at the votes and there was a voter who had probably just spammed the results.  A member with 3 posts voted on a number of various sites with silly votes.

Anyhow, I've also just changed it so that you need 10 posts before you can vote in the poll.

If there are 50 votes, 49 for $0 and 1 for $2500 the poll would show 10.   With any of the low earning sites it only takes one person to drastically throw off the results.

the problem is that people who basically make no money  at a site, most likely just forget about it and forget to poll too, leading to nonsensical results.
