Title: Retainer Fee - How do you charge?

Hey MSG! I understand that many of you do freelance photography and graphic design on your own time. Apart from stock, I'm also a freelance graphic designer myself, having been one since I graduated from school a year back.

Over the one year, I've managed to built a system of how much to charge for the different kinds of services out there, but I've recently been asked for my "retainer fee" rate, which is all very new to me. (I had no idea freelancers would have retainer fees too!) Does anyone have an idea on how to begin quoting for this? What kind of pricing structure do you use? Thanks in advance!
