I watch it even if we suck in football here in Canada. My two favorite teams are France and Spain, but France did a awful 0-0 yesterday

We won playing  worst  game ever against Austria , but we never play good against the teams that are objectively weaker than us.

Our next game Croatia - Germany , and that is going to be a surprise for many , me thinks.

It's hard but then I choose France, because it seem I'm the only one. Also France is the land of my ancestor... Maybe a poll about who's gone win will be interseting

Next game vs Netherlands ::)

Can somebody explain why I didn't see the England team?

Fortunately those of us from mixed races can change our loyalty as the competition goes.

Go Germany, or Estonia, or England, or Ireland, or Russia.

Germany is going down today , next 3 are not in the competition , and Russia has been crashed in their first game , so you better start looking for your next pick. ;)

And a joke...

Daddy , daddy why do German players have 3 yellow stars on their shirts.

See son , each one represents a goal we scored against them last time we meet on the tournament.

But daddy , we don't have any stars on our shirts.

Yap , we dont.

Go Croatia

Sweden ;D

We don't win it all, but this is the fifth championship in a row where Sweden qualified to the competition.

And the goal Zlatan Ibrahimovic did against former champions Greece, is enough for keeping me happy until next WC 2010 in south Africa. If Sweden gets to the quarterfinals i am more than pleased.

I think its finally Spains tournament. Torres, will be a true hero.

There is a Brazilian in Poland too, and I think there is one in Turkey.  A new citizenship is easy when you have the right talent!

Marco Aurelio Brito Dos Prazeres (we call him simply Mehmet Aurelio :) ) is playing for our (Turkey) national team. If I am not wrong he plays for Turkish teams for at least 10 years, and he is the first non-turkish originated person in the national team.

(Since he got his second yellow card against Czech yesterday, unfortunately he won't be playing against Croatia on Firday.)

Great game for the Turkish national team. Very good how they came back from a 0-2  to 3-2

You must have had a real big party ( the turkish people in Holland did)

Thank you :)

It was a miracle, rather than a football. I think I will never forget the last 15 minutes in my life.

And big congratulations to Holland team! Outstanding performance in the group of death!

Im sorry but I have to say that the lucky team went trough this time , I played football for 20 years , I watched 1000s of games in my life but I never seen such luck, 3 games in a row , but hey you know what they say , you have to deserve your luck , and you play 120% all the time so I guess you deserve it.

I wish you best in this tournament , I support Turkey and Russia from now on , but I think you will have tough job considering the fact that almost all of your team is out for the next game , but with you , a man never can tell :)

Unforgivable game for sure :)

I have seen that Russians won the game against  Holland. I am for Germany to  win.
I think Russians or Turks are no match for Germans or Spain, but both showed a will to win, especially, Turks.  For little that I saw. I am surprised that people in Europe (and my friends there) are so excited about this championship.

I think the russians are very capable to win from Germany or Spain. I f you keep in mind what the dutch did to the Italians (3-0) and the French(4-1), and how good the Russians played yesterday against the dutch. They have a very good chance to win the tournament

I was surprised to see so many handsome people of both sexes among Dutch fans on the stadium. I imagined Dutch differently. A nice surprise. When i will be in Germany, if it happens this summer, i'd like to visit Holland.

It would be nice a final of Spain vs Turkey like the battle of Lepanto (with the same result)  ;)
