Title: The Wolves Inside
Post by: CD123 on March 18, 2013, 14:23
Someone sent this to me and I think it contains very powerful wisdom:

A grandfather from the Cherokee Nation was talking with his grandson. “A fight is going on inside me” he said to the boy.  It is a terrible fight, and it is between two wolves. One wolf is evil and ugly; he is anger, envy, greed, self pity, resentment, selfishness, inferiority, false pride, lies, guilt, arrogance and war.

The other wolf is beautiful and good; he is friendly, joyful, generous, peaceful, humble, kind, just, compassion, forgiveness and gratitude.

The same fight is going on inside you, and inside every human being.

The grandson paused in deep reflection on what his grandfather had said. Then he asked, “Grandfather, which wolf will win the fight?”

And the Elder replied “the wolf that you feed”
