I believe in the Republican Party. As I already wrote, Trump is just a clown who brings the Republicans to power.

Believing that a party led by a clown will give US, Ukraine and the world anything but a circus is highly delusional!  ::)
You see for yourself that the Democrats are cowards and impotent. There are only two parties in the USA, there is not much choice.
In any case, if the Democrats cannot cope with the Russians before the elections, then power must be given to the Republicans.

That's a very odd take. Sorry the war has been politicized in the US with the Republican base taking the anti Ukraine stance. The few Republican senators who still support will quickly bend the knee for the nutters. As always. Supporting worse because you think the other option is bad makes no sense.

Republican base taking the anti Ukraine stance.
I think this is not true. There is a small percentage of Republicans who say anti-Ukrainian words. But, I prefer to look not at what they say, but at what they do. Trump can say whatever he wants, but if military aid to Ukraine increases and more sanctions are imposed on the Russians and Chinese, it will be right.
The Republicans want to impose sanctions on China, and I support that. As for the Democrats, I mostly see only beautiful words.

World leaders at the Group of 20 summit in New Delhi adopted a declaration that avoided directly criticizing Russia for its invasion of Ukraine
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/09/10/russia-ukraine-war-news/

This is the result of the policy of the Democrats.

Interesting maps Zero, thank you.

Also very interesting to learn that Ukrainian people are genetically not as strongly related to Russia as Putin keeps claiming.

Ukraine must win, will join both NATO and the EU.

No it wont at least not without catastrophic consequences for all the world.

And people keep forgetting that in case we keep imposing the same politics that lead to this, that there is a strong chance that
in the future BRICKS countries may also form a military union that goes beyond the economy.

And those countries have 3.2 billion people combined at the moment while UN countries population is under a billion with way less chances to grow significantly while more and more countries are applying to join BRICKS. At this moment more than 40 countries want to join, and that would make BRICKS union climb close to 5 billion people in population.

In case that things escalate, NATO wouldn't  stand a chance in conventional war without using nuclear power, and in case of nuclear war its game over for 90% of the world's  population.

NATO COUNTRIES:

I don't think Ukraine is ready to join the EU. Still very corrupt etc. They should definately be in NATO. Russia has proved any bordering country is in danger of invasion if they can't defend themselves.

Ukraine has a very experienced and brave army and would literally be the shield for all of Europe.

I agree that getting them into the EU is a slower process.

NATO is more important.

@Lizard

Nobody cares about Brics.

They are totally divided and fighting each other, with China, Russia and several others all believing they will be the top dog and everyone else just becomes a slave state in their empire.

Their oligarchs will certainly thrive and make more money and perhaps longterm China will indeed dominate it all.

But the countries joining are not really interesting. Difficult economies, cannot feed their exploding populations and if they have any natural resources the money just goes to the oligarchs.

Their populations are desperate to escape and get jobs in NATO countries.

Until it goes the other way round - people from wealthy countries starting to move into the Brics zone it is all dead on arrival.

Actually I wish them luck, maybe they can do a little bit together to improve the lives of their people.

But I doubt it.Poor populations make better slaves.

Oh, they care. Its just a good topic to avoid in western media.

Oligarchs are just extremely rich people that earn money in suspicious ways and get highly involved in politics. West is also full of those. Even more than the east. Most of the huge debt western countries have is owned by private corporations. National banks are in private hands and the nations are depending on their moves. Politicians have secret meetings and deal with them and passing laws that allow them to take more and more. Corporate budgets became larger the the ones of the countries. And all that money is controlled  by a few. Oligarchy at its best.

Also, don't forget that huge chunks of largest European countries budgets is being sucked from ex colonies and that also major part of largest companies production is there which makes their products competitive and their leaders can stop that in a second.

Also don't forget that western world owns way less natural resources and that Europe stands extremely poor in that aspect.

In this world, only the changes are permanent. And also emigrating for work doesn't mean liking the place you go or supporting that system.

I would say chasing the money to repay loans makes best slaves. And setting the basic living prices so high that an average human has to work overtime to cover basic cost is the best ground for modern slavery.

Exactly! Voting with one's the feet is the best way to assess the prosperity of a given country, beyond nationalist rethoric, propaganda or wishful thinking.

We will know we are in trouble when Americans, Germans, Poles, etc will wish to emigrate to russia, China, India or Brazil.  ;D

China is the main enemy of peace and democracy. If there is no China, there will be no russia.
But now we need to eliminate the Russian orcs.
Republicans, unlike Democrats, want to eliminate the Chinese empire.

I absolutely do not think you are a Russian agent/ plant. But if you were you couldn't do a better job of muddying the water and turning people off of helping Ukraine. I know you don't get it and think you are helping but you really, really aren't.

You, and the reason is that a lot of what you are saying is turning off people who's support Ukraine very much needs.

We can argue about whether what you are saying is true or not, but trust me the effect is the same. People who were on the fence or even broadly supportive of Ukraine are 100% being turned off by your xenophobia and also your opinions on American politics.

Again I am not arguing over whether what you are saying is true (I could, but that isnt my point). My point is please think a bit more strategically if you want to help Ukraine, because this aint it.

EU provides 1 million in humanitarian aid in response to the earthquake

That's seriously a f.....g insult in such situation. They spend more on food and drinks at each of their internal EU commission office parties.

China also had a horse for the race and won by offering 200k

I hope Morocco will refuse those generous offers

You probably forgot, but we are writing on the stock photographers forum. Here on the forum there is no UN, no NATO, no EU. There are no people here who can help Ukraine. This forum, and this topic, is the place where you can write the truth and your thoughts. Democracy is that if you support the Democrats, then I can support the Republicans.
As for the Russians, I havent seen a single good Russian here on the forum, only trolls and rashists.
 ;)

The war between Ukraine and russia is a war between European and Asian civilizations.
This is a war between democracy, freedom and despotism, totalitarianism, terrorism and fascism.

Elizabeth Warren Demands Probes of Elon Musk, SpaceX After Ukraine Revelations
Warren calls on Pentagon to look into decision over attack
Musk, other tech chiefs will meet with senators on Wednesday

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-09-11/elizabeth-warren-demands-probes-of-elon-musk-spacex-after-ukraine-revelations?srnd=politics-vp

Senator Elizabeth Warren is demanding an investigation into SpaceX after Elon Musk acknowledged he had blocked Ukraine from extending the private Starlink satellite network for an attack on Russian warships near the Crimean coast.

The Congress needs to investigate whats happened here and whether we have adequate tools to make sure foreign policy is conducted by the government and not by one billionaire, the Massachusetts Democrat said Monday at the Capitol.

Interesting that Elizabeth Warren who you praised above for her anti-Musk stance is a democrat (and btw, I don't like her marxist views at all)

Keep inflating the bubble you live in, but don't be surprised when it will burst, smashing everything you are fighting for and more.

Rest assured that Trump will get rid of all those who are supporting Ukraine, and replace them with the likes of Vivek Ramaswamy, Marjorie Taylor Green, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz etc... who kiss his a@@ all day long and push for a deal that will give russia whatever they occupied today. 🤮
