And the fun part it's applicable to every language.

I have to say being around here for a year my English in writing is improved by 100%.
Speaking is no problem it's only a problem when talking to people from different countries.
Like speaking 5 minutes in English and switch to German or Dutch within those 5 minutes back and forth.

I think it's great that everybody tries to communicate in English although their native language is totally different.
And most of the time their spelling is correct only the choice of words could be better, me included.

I hope in the future their would be only one easy language so their will be no misunderstanding with communication.

And I guess I don't care that I can still read that paragraph with all the misspelled words. That doesn't excuse bad spelling and grammar for those born, raised and educated in the US. I forgive the rest of the world, you all have made an outstanding effort to learn English.

It's pretty sad when I need an interpreter to read what my own sister types.

So put me down as a whiner about bad spelling and grammar.  ::)

Well, I'm trying to learn Spanish - so far I'm not very good, and I'm always surprised that native Spanish speakers seem to be able to work out my meaning when I know I'm making lots of mistakes - but I appreciate it when they correct my errors, I don't call it whining!

As for your example - if you think it doesn't matter, try writing your CV like that, see how many job interviews you get...

Not my example: Cambridge example it is...

Anyhow, I think if we are smart enough we can decipher any text ;-)

Ouch!!! I suppose thats why U.S> border guards are armed at all CDn/Us crossings...

Trust me, CAnada is not part of the U.S. Yes, North American Standards have been adopted, ex, Telecomunications, road infrastructure, Hydro electric.

It like saying Columbia is part of Brazil.
