Here, this will keep you busy with theories, suspicion and conjecture. The pranks will feed the alien myths for years to come. If you liked crop circles, you'll want to believe this is something more than someone trolling for attention. If these appear in commercial locations, we can assume it's like Nessy or Roswell or other attractions that bring in tourists and suckers, for money.

Probably this guy, but some of the conspiracy followers, will become skeptics, and deny the simple Earth origins.  :)

They are offering to sell monoliths for $45,000 which may be a result of the news, or the cause.

Some of the dreamers want to believe that a wooden core with some polished metal, is other world technology or a message. This always leads me to ask, why don't the aliens (if it is aliens) just drop a business card on the White House lawn or at some other major point in some other country. Why mystery circles, why monoliths, why secret meetings with itinerant farmers or a message to be decoded?

I mean, if the point is contact, why not just drop a message someplace, in a easily readable language, with many viewers and access? What's all the mystery and intrigue going to do to help contact us?
