UK photographers only: anyone have a insurer to recommend for public liability insurance (e.g. bumping into someone and injuring them when stepping back, or someone tripping over your tripod) and whatever it's called if someone sues you because their editorial picture is used in an unsuitable way?
I was previously covered by my 'day job' Union for these, but now I'm out of the Union.

Thanks for the link.
Is there any way you can get a quote without wanting camera/equipment cover?
Stupid, it's right there on the page: phone them Mon - Fri.

I use Morgan Richardson.

The other cover you're referring to is 'professional indemnity' insurance.

Thank you all.
I have written to each of these, with trepidation as to costs.
The second-last thing I need is a big insurance bill!
Update:
First reply: MorganRichardson don't offer the cover alone, i.e. without also covering your photo equipment. My gear is covered, and I don't really want to double up on costs. Holding on that one.

So I had the reply for MorganRichardson saying they don't offer the other cover without covering the gear. My gear is covered until the third week in October, expensively, new-for-old; home-and-abroad, so I don't want to double up.
I guess if they'd wanted the business, they could have suggested covering just one piece of my equipment to get round that issue.
I've had no reply from aaduki or GloverHowe, and I emailled all three first thing on Tuesday morning, so I'm guessing they're not interested for the same reason.
My husband found a company which offered insurance for outdoor sculpture he was involved in. Their rates are extremely prohibitive and definitely unsustainable.
Any other UK suggestions?
Tx.

Why not just call them, then you won't be wondering if they're not interested or have lost your email etc?
