I'm always looking for new ways to make some extra money and recently I came across webanswers.  Sign up with them and answer 10 questions and they will share the AdSense revenue when people look at adverts on their pages.  There's a photography section that might interest people here.

It's not likely to be a big earner but might be worth looking at for people who use AdSense or anyone that likes answering questions.  They have also just started a referral scheme, so mines in the link below.

I am looking into it, I have answered a few questions so far, have a Adsense account on my blog but have taken that out once the income was ridiculous small.. 3 euros from almost a year online! I see you have an awarded answer, how much have you earn?

I only connected my adsense account today.  When I joined 8 days ago, they asked for 200 answers or 10 awarded answers before you could get earnings from adsense.  They must of changed that in the last week, making it much easier.  I did a lot of research and can see some people making money there but I think all these things take a lot of time to get going.  I will let you know how I am doing in a few months.

It looks interesting, but we may feel tempted to give fast answers, not very useful answers.. lol I guess with good answers etc getting awards it can go for good but a lot of work, just like stock..

Yes, I think good long answers will help and that's going to take time but I want to earn as much money as I can from something other than microstock and I will give this a go for a few months.

I did sign up with a similar company that receives photography questions (amongst others) every 10 minutes or so. But after doing some research I've seen that many "experts" got kicked out with earnings not being paid out.

Of course I can't believe everything I read/hear but a lot of the banned experts have been there for years before they got banned without any explanation.

Talking about the Micros treating us bad. It's like this in many places...

I never really bothered getting into it. I asked the owners how I'm supposed to generate a constant stream of income with this site and they said, ideally I'd have to stay logged in all the time hitting F5 until a new question pops up to get it first. Otherwise you're out of luck and considered unethical to snap the answer away from another expert that already responded but who may have not gotten it right away.

It's a good idea but the system is flawed IMO.

I don't think webanawers is like that.  I have seen lots of answers to the same questions and the person who asked the question is free to award the one they want to.  They say the advertising revenue is split amongst the people that answer the questions but they use a quality score system, so hopefully the people with the best answers get rewarded more.

There are always people getting banned from websites, that's a risk but hopefully if I don't do anything silly it wont happen.

Well the other thing is that it's up to the person who asked the question to pick the one who gets paid.

How much does each job average then? You still have to spend some time writing the stuff.

No, it isn't only the person that gets the award that gets paid, that just helps.  A bit like selling an image pushes it up the best match search.

There's a few posts in the chat section about how much people are earning.  Just like microstock, some people do much better than others. http://www.webanswers.com/webanswers-chat/is-anyone-making-any-money-here-yet-f5055b

Do we sum up earning from different subjects, or do we need to focus on one?

I am annoyed that sites like that have started popping up in searches for very specific questions, and they rarely have the answer - sort of like search spam as far as I can see. I have no input on if they are worth your time, but my guess is not unless you already know the answer to tough questions that are commonly asked and can crank them out very quickly.

I signed up but when I started to check questions for travel, for instance, I found very silly ones.  Do people earn money by making questions too?

''Where is Vancouver, Canada?"

"What is the language of Portugal?"

Nobody needs to go to this site to get these answers. I would have expected some more specialized questions.

"How many fish do you have?"

And this is a good one:

"Does anyone actually receive money from Web Answers.com?"

 ;D

It does say on the site somewhere that they are testing paying people for questions.  Some of the questions are really dumb but so are some people.

Go and ask 100 people "What is the language of Portugal?" and I bet some wont have a clue.

I have also seen some good answers that you wouldn't find elsewhere.

And even better that those people wouldn't even know how to Google the answer... I've seen it all.

Me too. I'm not sure of the language of Portugal, but I am smart enough to google it. I google everything. I don't know how I got along in life before google. But perhaps the answer that comes up in the search is from WebAnswers.

Bear in mind, maybe kids can use these answers too. Researching for schoolwork.

Just checked my google adsense report and I earned 0.28 from webanswers yesterday.  Feels like when I just started out with microstock, I don't think it will be as profitable but it's something to work on in this freezing winter.

I saw this question on WebAnswers and thought someone here might want to answer it.  Don't use any referral links, they don't like that.
