The most interesting person in this forum is gone (his nick is turned black). What happened? I hope it's just a glitch, since I'll most def miss his posts, (poky) and intelligent humour and also insight into this business

I was wondering the same thing. I figured maybe he went over the line with his humor and got a temporary ban.

Yeah I remember him getting banned for the reason you put down, however I don't think he did anything wrong, he just said something in a sarcastic way to an annoying and even more stupid person. I mean what can you do. To illustrate the person in question (not Lagereek you dumb... :) ;) ) I have a few quotes at hand:

There's a lot more to it with Lagereek, it's just a shame so many ppl don't get him. He's very good in psychology and I know exactly what he's doing at times (though I never revealed it, since he has so much fun and me along when reading it). It's just so much more behind his words (or between the lines at times), the vast majority of ppl see just...well I'll stop here since I don't wanna say too much. Those who get him, get him and will keep on understanding him, those who don't never will. But all I can say many of his posts are brilliant

Did anybody see anything dodgy from him recently? I didn't notice anything that looked over-the-top.

Just heard from him. Apparently his name went black and he was shut out without any notice. Most likely a glitch, or possibly a hack. Hopefully Tyler can get to the bottom of it.
Hope he's turned back on soon. For better or worse (sometimes both!) Christian certainly keeps things interesting around here :)

very strange, yes. His account has been deleted and that doesn't just happen by itself.
I can only think of a few possibilities of how this could happen.
A) Lagereek deleted his own account
B) I mistakingly deleted his account when trying to delete a spammer
C) Someone had control of his account and deleted it
I delete a user (spammer) almost on a daily basis .. but when I do I also delete all their posts and threads. If I had accidently deleted Lagereek all his posts would have also been erased (which they are not). Needless to say I tripple check when I delete a spammer.
Anyhow, I've emailed him and we're finding a solution.

I've seen ayzek turn black as well. Something must be going on. Are you sure they didn't hack your site and are deleting members and perhaps doing some other damage Leaf? It can be a coincidence of course, he could have deleted his acc, but I can't see a reason for that, it usually happens with ppl getting fed up or Leaf getting fed up with them :)

I never delete people's accounts who aren't simply spammers. If someone is misbehaving I simply put a ban on their account (which can be reversed).
Lagereek didn't delete his account (and least not to his knowledge) and I didn't delete his account (to my knowledge). Some sort of a hack is highly unlikely but I suppose possible.

Ok, it looks like his account has more or less been reinstated ... that last post was by me, setting up his account and testing it. I'll just wait for him to take it over.

However, keep your eyes open: same day as my account went black here, two sites also lost my username, so there might be some imbecile, having great fun.
Know what Im a beginner with a fresh account, all my terrific useful posts are gone and my 30 ignores, pitty, I was rather proud of my ignores. Thanks to Lisa for notifying Tyler, and all.

Yeah, they are right about global warming, (keep in mind I'm on the side for climate change being another ice age), the comet, WMDs, end of the world in Dec., crop circles... and so many other things? LOL
Actually when I was a kid, we had sticks with notches and you would rub them up and down. (tip of one of them pressed against the ground) The vibrations would bring up the worms. So grunting, without even watching the video or reading anything, makes perfect sense. Low frequency makes them come up to the surface. Even better is a flashlight at night, and just pick them off the ground. But that wouldn't be newsworthy would it? Hey an actual use for boom boxes? Worming!

Yup, An idiot abroad, I love the show as well, but this last episodes of the series in the studio are always hilarious. He's funny and is cursing all the time, a proper Englishman :) . I don't understand a word here and there, but what can you expect if he's from Manchester (I find ppl from northern England pretty hard to understand, like Scots and Irish)

Not me and nor him can find any logic in what happend, I thought to myself, could I really have hit this termination-button by mistake? nah, for starters Im hardly ever in on my profile side, no reason and once there you really have to look for it.
