I uploaded 4 pics on 11/5. 1 accepted - 1 rejected. There was a note on the other 2 - if they were taken from publicly accessible property. 1 from roadside and 1 in public park. Should that be okay?

They should be okay.
But there has been a lot of talk recently in Germany about what constitutes a "public" location. There are some parks open to the public but still in private ownership. And there has been a lawsuit against a photo agency concerning the use of pictures taken in such a private property. I don't recall all the details, but in essence as the property was private (although open to the public) the pictures in question should not have been sold.
That's obviously why Panthermedia is a bit weary about where shots are taken.
If you are sure they were taken on public ground, you should be fine. Maybe just reply with the exact location you took the shots.

I have another question. Is there any way to know which date it was approved. Do they not send e-mail on approval/rejection? I'm very glad i'm in.
-
No, they don't send emails. You have to check periodically to see what was accepted / rejected.

I was away and couldn't check. Oh well.

how about when you get rejections and they don't give a reason why??? Very frustrating. It seems that the reviewer just picks what they like because some of their rejections make no sense to me. Taking a break from this site !
