Is there someone can interpret the below for me? I started submitting to Panthermedia because of the threads I have seen in the forums here. My first two were reviewed. Once says it is accepted. One says it will be accepted after modifications. But the message for what needs to be done is:

Reason: Bitte Detailangaben ergnzen (bei Tieren/Pflanzen: Rasse/Art; bei Stdtefotos: Stdtenamen/Land, etc.)

Could someone tell me what this says in English?

Thanks

Try google translate:  http://www.google.com/translate_t?langpair=de|en

Please complete details (in animals / Plant: race / type; in cities Photos: Cities / Country, etc.)

Wow, that's a different one.  Did you not describe the image fully or something?  Beats me...

Thanks for the link and the interpretation. I am really not sure what I am supposed to change. I have the category set as Lakes and Oceans (because it is a lake). The title is "A Lake in the Wilderness".

Does anyone know where I am supposed to make a change?

They probably want the name of the lake.

I've had trouble with Panthermedia too.  I e-mailed them and they directed me to send a note to the image editors.  To do this go to My Panther>My Images>Image Overview.  Find the image in question and scroll all the way to the right side of the page, the last column is "Edit Image" click on "Edit Image".  This takes you back to the "Upload Image" page, scroll down to the "Message to image editors" box and tell them you don't appreciate receiving mesages in German and ask them to repeat the request in English or you can be nice and politely ask for a translation.

Wise man say: "don't join a site where you don't know the terms." (wise man being the egotistical me  ;D) If you don't know the language then you should never, ever, join the site. You don't know the language so you don't know what you're agreeing to. I speak three languages and wouldn't consider joining sites that I don't understand the site's terms.

yingyang0,

That's good advice but everything, including the agreement, on the site is in English except the part where they tell what they don't like about the image, and sometimes that is in English too.

You're right, but the governing law in the photographer's agreement is German. Sorry, but as a US citizen, German law is so socialist that I wouldn't want anything to do with a company that wants to claim German law governs.

P.S. I'm so far democrat that many of my coworkers call me the "commie".

this is what it means:
please add details (for animals/plants: provide species/breed, for cityscapes: name of the city/country, etc.)

really straight forward, they just want some additional details for some of the pics (or all, I dunno)

I edited the image and added the location to the description and some location specific details. Thanks to everyone for the help.

Pardon me??? Would you mind to explain this a bit further, I am normally not nationalistic at all but this is a bit too much!!! SY *And yes, I am German!*
