Title: Panthermedia new negative record: 0.11 € for one sale
Post by: Chichikov on May 04, 2016, 03:35
Yesterday I have got a bunch of sales for 0,11€ each one…
I wrote to PM to ask some explanation.

Got it:
"Kindly note, that we have a distribution network all over the world.
In some countries prices for royalty free images are much lower as in
Europe (because of economic level). But these markets are important for
stock photography as well, as companies purchase a big quantity of
images there.
For you and us it is another chance to rise our sells.
We hope for you understanding."

No I am not understanding!

Next step: contributors will have to pay money to those downloading their works?…………

I removed my portfolio from Panther last summer to get out of their (no opt out-able) partner program.  Unfortunately their partners are still selling my images.

[Sorry, automatic translation]

Another record for Panther: indexing

I still have 63 pictures to validate and oldest date of 2 months!

At this rate 2017 index / 2022 first sale / payment threshold reached in 2052!
Conclusion: abandoning Panthermedia

I recently tried uploading again after long break as I think they seem to be making some effort to get things moving......the site said 55 days waiting time to review.......not sure I'll bother after this batch. :-\

their indexing site is terrible ... but if you don't have more than 4000 files don't expect earnings from panther.

How deep can they go?
