Very sharp, nicely exposed, good framing - the motion of the camera is distracting. I don't know if the motion is a deal breaker, but it would have been better on a tripod. Overall, I would say it is definitely a professional shot and I have no real critique.

Very nice. If you really want criticism - the framing is a little too tight, not enough space around the subject. No context - where is the bird, is that a river in the background, I can't tell - either frame the bird and the river or just the bird. maybe a little more saturation in the middle... I'm just being very picky, you asked for it. I can tell that you used warp stabilizer didn't you

Also what commercial value does this clip have?

As a *general* rule for wildlife & kids, it's better to get down to the "head height" of your subject than to shoot from above.

My opinion:

- Good sharp focus on bird
- Not much commercial value
- Too common clip, difficult to make sales
- Boring composition
- Too Flat lighting
- It's better to shot with tripod and not try to stabilize after so you don't get this artificial handheld movement
- Too much zoom over the bird, better leave some air in the margins
- I recommend to describe the bird also with the scientific name

Only my opinion, the video is correct but not too suitable as stock footage.

Yes. The usual "standing at eye level" makes it less interesting.

Always be open to technical criticism (but still filter it through your own logic), but when it comes to 'commercial value', I would ignore just about everything anyone else has to say. Many of my top selling images were ones deemed both irreparable and of low commercial value by other contributors. So just try to get the technical merits down, and you're good to go.

I don't mind the angle of your shot because it is a close-up. I think the movement of the camera is the biggest distraction.

Anyway, I agree with the others.

Regarding "commercial value" - you never know. It won't reach the top list and sell hundreds of times no, but common shots of birds do sell (just sold a baby swan clip yesterday). If it's a common bird however it needs to be technically flawless. If it's a rare one or a rare situation - technique won't matter too much.
