you almost got rid of the noise, the greys are still a bit dull. As for details they are ok.
I think the picture is fine, but maybe not for the initial application

It's been a while since this monitor was calibrated, but for me it seems like it would use a tiny bit of light in the models. Maybe a hint more lightness to oranges in LR?

The whites are gray and the details look a bit mushy. You shouldn't need any noise reduction on a properly lit shot so using "medium" - whatever that means - is probably why you have smeary details.

If this had white whites and was downsized to the minimum it might get accepted, but I don't think it's a strong stock image. The background is a crumpled blouse that could use ironing (or to be so out of focus you can't tell it's wrinkled).

Sorry to be blunt, but I don't think this will fly

Another old thread resurrected. Reaktori, please could you check if a thread is still "live" before posting, you keep on pushing these old threads to the top and it's getting frustrating.

Thank you all for the support

Hi All

I finally gotten accepted to IStock, well its been ages since i open this site, i join microstock in despair after getting double rejection, i also tried submitting photos at fotolia (and yes my initial Istock application was also rejected). After critically reading all the comments here i tried to improve some basic skills, isolation, lights etc and using the same basic concept (baby massage) my photos got accepted by fotolia, after that i submit a few other photo but i didnt bother with istock again

Since having such a low portfolio none of my files sold, until a few months later, after that i tried to put some more effort now my files at fotolia reached 100 then i thought its time to try again at istock
yesterday i submitted my application and today i get the email that i was accepted yay

I do relize that i have a long way ahead in photography and stock photo, but sometimes getting the photo accepted is like a pat in the back ( yay my photo is good enough in pixel level).

Once again thanks , especially those who take the time to scrutinize my picture at pixel level and you are a very strange bunch helping the competition  :P

Joseph
