Title: New isolated object.
Post by: Whiz on June 17, 2007, 16:26
So I got a light tent recently and this is one of the images that I've taken with it. What do you think?

Nice soft shadows.  Good even lighting.  Looks like it works a treat.  Enjoy.

Just a fussy point - I'm not sure that particular image will sell due to the ball at the back being out of focus; whilst out of focus stuff is 'very nice', my experience says that with isolated stuff designers like to have everything in focus.

I'm really annoyed with my light tent. I just cannot seem to get the background white. I have tried changing the settings on the camera and RAW processing but still get the old Tungsten yellow.

That's too bad, litifeta. Maybe it's the lights you're using?
