Title: Recognizable faces?

Rejection reason at DT:
The image includes recognizable faces of humans. It cannot be accepted without a
model release signed by your subject(s).

attached is a clip of the two human faces in the image.

I'm sure the one on the left is Phil Hellmuth ( the Poker player)

does seem slightly strange to reject these, I would say it's worth resubmitting.

I will try to send an email to support.  This was posted for the assignment and, although they review it fast, it doesn't make sense to upload them again without any change.

I was curious if their comment made sense.  I believe these people may see themselves there and believe it is them (if they live in Rio and if the use to walk early by the beach), but does it configure a situation in which a release is needed?

If the subject or his/her family can tell that it is them in the photo, then you're in trouble. I bet the guy and his family on the left could because of his distinct features. Not sure on the guy on the right. Better to be safe then sorry.

i thought about that too, but i could think of at least 3 people I know who i could say this was a picture of - however your reasoning is no doubt why they rejected it.

I'll try that.  And I'll try editing it more to have a full single color, if it's not the case yet.  If even then they're recognizable, I think I will start to believe is CSI-type of police stories!  :)

Yeah, in image>adjustment>shadows it does become more clear.  I think the reason the stocksites are doing this is to prevent some, and I've seen some who did on SS from grabbing a picture burning the silhouette and submitting as an original.  Just my opinion
