This one was rejected for 'poor lightning' at istock, what do you think?

Thanks!

Their rejection appears ludicrous, but I'd have to see a 100% crop to be sure.

What a business, eh?

Nice little portfolio latex.  Developing very nicely.  Well done.

My suspicion, if the rejection can make any sense is the reflections on the peppers. It's certainly not poorly lit in the sense of insuficient lighting.

Adelaide

Thanks hatman
Going very slowly... but very happy  :)

Thanks Adelaide.
I know what they mean, but i don't think the highlights of the image are too harsh.

It may be the highlights in combination with what to me looks like a bit too flat light. I would try to give it a bit more contrast by moving the light to one side.

No idea ... it seems perfectly well lit to me.

But then, as others have said, there are various other possibilities for a shot like this.

I think this just goes to show the rather arbitrary nature of the inspection process. It is, after all, highly subjective.

Did they mean overlit are their blown out highlights check the curve to see if you have any pixels at 255 (though most accepted results have white bits.

Did you have the option to resubmit if you did they think its fixable if not best to forget about it I am sure you have other photos that can fill your meagre weekly upoad

Unless the reviewer thought that 131 photos was enough of isolated chilli peppers (though most search results look like fat peppers).

Though I did like the pepper with a zip

Hey, latex...   Guess this is why I'm not a reviewer...  It looks fine to me.  Nice 'folio.  I particularly liked  "dark corridor"!  8)  -tom

The colors seem a bit washed out to me. Maybe that's what they meant?
