Hallo,

I just want to be able to understand whats sells. On Envato I can't find simple stats ... tonight "analytics" (I discovered this right now) didn't work ... and it seems I have to browse ALL MY PORTFOLIO and see if there is a particular image selling.

I can't believe this is the way ... But I can't find the intelligent one :-/

Anyone that could help?

Click on your name in the top right and go to portfolio. You can then search by total sales, total commission, average monthly sales, average monthly commission etc.

Oh and make sure you're in list view, rather than grid view, in your portfolio... or the stats won't show up.

There's seven marketplaces on Envato, and VideoHive is the one you want for video. No mpeg stuff though, it's all Quicktime in a  few different codecs.

i registered there few days ago and today they approved my portfolio so im able to upload now. the problem is, i tried to upload few and its asking for title, which cant be the same for different images. so, other option is to upload one by one. is there third option? to load a batch of 10-20-100-million :p t once?? i cant believe i would have to upload one by one....

You have to use their FTP upload. That web uploader is a pure junk.

This route does work but it can still be frustrating to use when you start getting multiple sales of the same item. I have found that clicking on 'Statements' gets me a list of sales including file name, sale price (and associated fees), sale date, etc. That's been the best source of sales info for me on Envato.

Yeah, that way is good, but if you're getting multiple sales a day every day for years, it can be difficult finding what you want. For total/recent sales it's fine, but if I want to find out sales, sales per month, revenue and revenue per month... then the portfolio page is the way to go for me.

I found uploading to Envato to be so difficult, and poorly explained, that it bordered on traumatic.

Simple enough IF you don't have model/property releases which turn it into a nightmare
