Congrats, Elena.  I'm still waiting for the day my brown paw turns red.

What does this mean?

Sales levels -A black paw symbol against your name on the Envato forums denotes sales between $5-10K (if I understood correctly). Nice going Elena!
Regards, David.

thanks:) I like watching photodune's top authors list - since they are so new (selling photos), it gives you a good idea who is really selling right now. On older agencies it's total number of DLs often, so it really depends on who joined when, plus older files get search preferences, etc. Pressmaster being #2 is interesting:)

Congrats Elena!
I joined recently, got to 20-ish rank, soon to change the paw to red ;D

LE: oops, not that soon - I thought it was at 500.

yeah, I've been watching that list too.

I'm not sure how long I'll hold on to 9th place but I'll enjoy it while I can (and enjoy trying to catch up to 8th and 7th).  I was once on Dreamstime's top 10 list too.. now who knows where I am.  Far down for sure.

What's crazy is SolarSeven has 3.5% the number of images that I do and is right behind me, breathing down my next at 10th place.  Talk about a tight portfolio.

Here is a link for the confused.

:-) You earn different colours of "paw" icon next to your name depending on how much you sold on PhotoDune (dollar value). Leaf posted the link to the "top authors" list just above. And thanks:)

Yeah SolarSeven has some amazing stuff, but keep in mind that the paw changes colour based on your total sales on Envato Marketplace. There are more graphic items in that portfolio than photos (many of which are nice PS work too), and graphics does sell better, plus Graphic River was open before PhotoDune.  If you look at the big picture though the number of sales is mostly proportional to number of files, with some slight variations.
I don't seem to get a grasp of a tight but very selleable portfolio, I can sometimes predict what will sell, but half of the time it surprises me. I wish I could upload half of the files and get the same result:)

The DT rank site (http://www.dtrank.com) became password protected and there has never been any contact info on it.

Have you ever done a whois search on who owns that domain? I was surprised  ;)

It's a small world after all.  :P (Great scraping, bad CSS, what's the password?  :P)

bad CSS?  There's no CSS.  I didn't actually intend the site to be public and therefore didn't put any work into how it looks (not that any of my other sites are that pretty either, but just sayin'...).  I was surprised that anyone found it at all really.

Anyhow, I was mostly just playing around trying to see if I could create a ranking list and maybe figure out a use for it eventually, perhaps in MSG or somewhere else.  I'll remove the password .. at least for now.

That's what I meant. I admired the site from the start, even wanted to write a front last summer. It's certainly a hit and the scraping is very well done (It was actually a compliment).

Thanks:) It feels nice to be a part of Envato community. Very refreshing to have a new agency that not only listens and collaborates honestly with the authors, but is good at selling images, too. I wish you a lot of success:)

Thanks a lot for the kind words Elena, that means a lot to us. Please feel free to drop by the PhotoDune/Envato Marketplace forums sometime and share your thoughts or achievements with us. We're a friendly community and like to celebrate author milestones such as this :)

Some interesting stats there. There are only 2048 photographers with over 1000 images. There are 8821 (45%) Contributors who haven't reached payout. I know that many of the 8821 will probably be newbies with small ports, but many of those would have all but given up but left their images there (which is what a lot of those I refer do). Nice little earner that, for the agencies.
