Title: Envato's 2019 Public Impact Statement
Post by: jamesgiroux on December 16, 2019, 19:05
Hello!

Envato has started posting an annual public impact statement that highlights some of the metrics and milestones for our community. We published our first one last year and we've just launched our latest statement for the year 2019.

You can read the post about it here: https://envato.com/blog/measuring-envatos-impact-in-2019/ (https://envato.com/blog/measuring-envatos-impact-in-2019/)

You can access the slide deck here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Rj1J4FEihZAuzL87P5bh18w2dEIA66iDFIrJbnNuECM (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Rj1J4FEihZAuzL87P5bh18w2dEIA66iDFIrJbnNuECM)

I'm happy to answer any questions you have about what's happening at Envato.

What is happening at Envato is basically a push to one of the lowest subscription schemes Envato Elements.

Also the 10 items upload weekly limit is a joke for any serious contributor that does this full time.
I am at Envato have have sales there but because of the limits every month Pond5 and Shutterstock % income is increasing while Envato is becoming marginal. I don't upload there anymore since months because that form of tickle uploads disrupts my workflow. Also batch changing keywords etc is a nightmare.

You really need to improve in many fronts to make it a contributor friendly site.

I agree with everything you said.

Envato used to make around $250 to $300 a month but its now down to $5 to 10$ if I'm lucky.

It doesn't matter what you upload or how many the revenues are p*ss poor with sales of 1 cent.

I stopped uploading I can't be bothered with sites like this.
