So they're revamping their invoices:

http://marketblog.envato.com/news/new-statements-invoices/

and have written a blog post out of their take on their new business model

http://marketblog.envato.com/news/envato-market-platform/

I made a forum post about how this just doesn't work at all for PhotoDune - if it were a marketplace (like Creative Market) - I would get to decide what was for sale and at what price. It isn't and I don't.

And my fun fact is that my last sale was 1 day ago for $1 (don't remind me; I'd rather just watch the balance go up)!

I understand why they have to  do VAT because of EU buyers and it us pretty much a sales tax, but 1099s don't make sense.

I'm glad to learn Im not the only one that PhotoDune likes to slap us around with rejections..

Every other agency I'm with accept 90% or more of my images and they are all selling well.. Aren't they an aussie group?  I'm an aussie - in the same city too.. they should look after their own!  >:(

Maybe I should walk down there and knock on their door - see how they like a rejection...

Fun fact, I deactivated my portfolio months ago, looks like I am not the only one, as they have sunk in the earnings poll.  Until they go back to being what they really are, an agency, they wont be selling any of my images.  They failed to understand the implications of selling direct for lots of contributors that make them a potential nightmare since the European VAT rules changed.
