Given what I have been discussing here:

I have been wondering how well thought out/ professional the Envato sites really are.

Here's a possible scenario, I buy an extended license for Yuri's best selling photo for $24.
Create a poster template for resale on Graphicriver and include the photo XXLarge as permitted by the extended license.
The template sells for $6 (typically), the photo normally sells for $9.
I undercut Yuri by reselling his photos with a free template thrown in.

Any reason why this can't happen?

Hello Microbius, thanks for taking the time to post. I wanted to see if I can shed some light on your question.

Yes it is possible that a photo could be used under a commercial license in a product like a flyer template. But the extended license prohibits the use of an image in a final product that permits end users to extract, reproduce or access the image as a stand-alone file. It also prohibits those who acquire the final product to resell the image as a stand-alone item.

That's good news! I had serious concerns about that.

What sort of timeframe are we looking at for you doing something (anything) about it. I mean, as another forum member has pointed out, even the specific products referenced haven't been taken down yet.
