..... because it's very irritating that the site takes 30 max when all the other sites allow 50. It's yet another thing (along with no auto preview/ thumbnail generation/ data extraction) that means uploads are impractical for non exclusive authors with lots of sites to upload to

I might understand the idea of restricting the number of keywords, but at least let us see, and choose from, all the keywords that were in the IPTC.  If we had 50, but are now looking at 30, it's way too much work to figure out which ones were dropped and which ones are most important, and punch them all in again by hand.
