Do the photos have to be exclusive?  Do we keep all out rights to sell them wherever we want after this bundle has sold?

I'm more inclined to send you some exclusive photos, as you have probably noticed, I don't like the 25% commission :)  The problem is, I'm already really busy with all the other sites and I have a separate portfolio on alamy.  There's a few other higher priced sites that I would like to try, so PhotoDune isn't a priority.

Agreed, the bundle was great (I had two photos in it).  The 50% commissions are also a big welcome.

@sharpshot - no the photos are not exclusive, they are sold just with a regular license.

I got an invite to include one of my images. You can opt in or out of having the image they selected at that point.

But I can tell you it fell far short of netting me $900.

I got around $630 for mine, but that was more than I expected, and a very nice  bonus :).  Hope to have another included next time there is a photo bundle.

Interesting.  Mine got me $883.08.  Needless to say, I'd be pleased to participate in another bundle.

Oh sorry, my math is obviously a bit crappier than I thought! It's the price of the item divided by the total prices x 50% x total sales. If $630 was what was being paid out, I've obviously done some poor calculations. Sorry! My Bad!

I've updated the post!

(Meanwhiles, would you believe I actually, literally have a degree in math! D'oh!!!!!)

;D

No problem Collis. $630 was a very nice payout.  And looks like your math was pretty close in Disorderly's case.  Lucky guy!

Not complaining either - the payout per image was based on image size, and my image is only a medium thus the lower commission.
My cut was rather nice regardless - more than I make monthly at several sites.

Without trying to sound ignorant - I haven't heard about that bundle thing at Photodune (maybe I took a nap under my rock...).

So what you're saying is that my images (once uploaded to Photodune) could be hand picked for the bundle to be sold for:

$380 a pop when it usually costs $3
$630 a pop when it usually costs $5
$880 a pop when it usually costs $7

???

It sounds very much like an Alice in Wonderland story. "Is this real life?" as I would like to quote some little fellow here.

I assume its a bundle that sold many many times to earn the higher $$ amount.

Some details on how it works would be great.

Yes, my cut was based on the total sales of the bundle during the time the promotion ran.

Also, nobody's image is used without their permission.  I was asked if my image could be included.
