Title: Is Nikon 28mm f1.8g to flawed for ms work ?
Post by: old crow on August 09, 2014, 06:31
Anyone using the nikon 28mm f1.8g.  I have not performed a lot of wide angle work and was wondering if any rejections have occurred because of the few flaws in the lens, CA, vignette, distortion etc.  most problems are usually taken care of PP but but it does need larger f stops to help it along.

do a test to find the sweet spot. all lenses will have that where u will be able to use the sharpest
area of the glass and they will be fine for stock, or any photography for all that matters.
i doubt if the flaw , as u call it, on this nikon lense is any better or worse than many non-nikon lenses
which i am sure not every photographer uses nikon for ms work ;)
