Photoshop Kindergarten - For beginners Only (all others stay away)

Today I read a post on another forum which read in part:
"...how does one get that magnificent blue sky that's like a gradient from dark on top to lighter blue at the bottom... "

The answer? Well it means using using a BLACK gradient! see how it's done

You must be wearing Sunglasses....take them off before viewing the tutorial

Yeah,  but.....  didn't that really pixelate the sky?  Or is that just how it came across on my monitor?     8)-tom

the compression in the video really does not do justice to the images....sorry
