Photoshop Kindergarten - For beginners Only (all others stay away)
Today I read a post on another forum which read in part:
"...how does one get that magnificent blue sky that's like a gradient from dark on top to lighter blue at the bottom... "
The answer? Well it means using using a BLACK gradient! see how it's done

Yeah, but..... didn't that really pixelate the sky? Or is that just how it came across on my monitor? 8)-tom
